Understanding life
Thought alone is not enough
Life is not limited to fragmentary experiences such as material possessions or superficial pursuits.
It encompasses the totality of our experiences, emotions, thoughts, and consciousness.
By observing the world with a sensitive awareness, we can access the deepest treasures of life.
This includes embracing the inevitability of death as an inseparable part of the journey.
True understanding involves embracing the entirety of life, free from the constraints of time and the illusions created by our limited perceptions.
Thought is inherently limited by its temporal, spatial, and linguistic boundaries.
This makes it difficult to grasp the vastness and complexity of life in its entirety.
Furthermore, thought tends to fragment and divide, breaking the whole into separate parts.
This approach overlooks the interconnectedness and interdependence that characterize life.
Thought is also influenced by our biases and preconceptions, leading to narrow and subjective interpretations.
Moreover, thinking can be distracting, causing us to lose sight of the present moment and direct experience.
